What's the book?

It's a fun and engaging illustrated workbook to be completed in 30 days, with one exercise per day.


Every  day includes a thought-provoking (and often funny) lesson, perhaps some  illustrative stories, and room to complete the exercises associated  with the chapter. The exercises take between 10 and 40 minutes.


The illustrations are made for coloring, because coloring is fun! The book is both fun and insightful... just like you! 

What's NOT the book?

It's  not a planner. It's not a new time management strategy. It's not a  journal. It will not give you rock-solid abs in 30 days. It will not  call your mother for you (though it may get you off the hook for not  calling her).

Who's it for?

Everyone can find something to love in YOU-NICORN. That said, some of the themes are about building your best life as an adult. It probably isn't right for your pre-teen niece.

When I started my self-improvement journey, this maxim kept me going. I worked at the Oprah Winfrey Network in Los Angeles, lived in a small studio cottage, and felt pretty "meh" about life overall. I struggled with depression, ADD, and general meaning-of-life stuff.


Over the past five years, my frustration with my life led me to search out bigger answers and find a life of passion.


My life is transformed from weeks-long bouts of depression to an adventurous partnership with the man I love, doing work I find tremendously meaningful. 


I want to share the secrets of how I got from there to here.

It does get better

There's another way. You don't have to live with a dull finish on your sparkling life. I believe you can unbridle your inner unicorn, and I want to help you do it.
